The key to having a durable long-lasting paint striping is to properly clean the substrate. KEYSTONE 5S blasts the area with a proven shot blast method. This removes all dirt, grease, and other impurities from the concrete. Blasting the concrete, even if new, is required to create a porous surface for the paint to physically bond to. The durability of the paint striping is further improved when a clearcoat is applied to the paint. The clearcoat protects the paint and it reseals the blasted area that remains unpainted. By having the clearcoat go beyond the painted surface it further protects the paint for a long lasting service life.
